My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fairy Tale is a truly gentle soul—one of those quiet, tender cats who captures your heart in the softest way. Very shy by nature, she’s still learning that people can be safe and kind, but when she chooses to trust, it’s incredibly special. She may not be easy to pet at first, but she shows her affection in her own sweet ways—especially with her foster, whom she seeks out for pets when he’s lying down. It’s absolutely heart-melting to watch. 🖤🤍

After lovingly raising her kittens, Fairy Tale is ready for a calm, understanding home where she can move at her own pace. She doesn’t interact much with adult cats but has a soft spot for kittens and absolutely loves toys, which help bring out her playful side.

Fairy Tale would do best in a quiet, dog-free home with a patient adopter who understands that love doesn’t always come loudly—sometimes it arrives gently, in small, meaningful moments. Watching her confidence grow will feel like your very own happily-ever-after.

She is eligible for the Purr Partners Foster to Adopt program, making it easy to give her the time and space she needs to truly shine. For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

More about this rescue

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
