If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Bridge came to us from a rescue in Texas three years ago. He is a 6yo, 65lb, neutered, vaxxed, chipped and house-and-crate-trained Catahoula Leopard Dog. His guardians are moving into an assisted living facility which doesn't permit pets. "We have never re-homed a pet, and this decision is overwhelming us. Bridge is a loving companion, who obviously loves making us happy. But he deserves more, a young, active family who can spend time, training him, walking him and loving him. Bridge is anxious around strangers. There is a lot of activity in our community. He would benefit from a quieter environment or owners who could acclimate him to an active, family-oriented neighborhood. Bridge is good with our two grandchildren, frisky with our cat, but hasn't had a lot of exposure to other dogs while in our care."
