Laika’s birthday is Sept. 17, 2018. She is a purebred Agouti Siberian Husky that we got from a breeder when she was 8 weeks old. Laika is such a fun dog with a HUGE personality! She talks a lot, as most huskies do, and makes a “growly” sound when she is happy and playing and is receiving attention and love – we call it her “purr.” She is great with people and plays well with some dogs, but generally prefers other dogs to leave her alone and not mess with her.
Laika loves to hike and her favorite thing is laying in the middle of mountain streams! We keep her on leash whenever she is outside.
Our family situation has recently changed requiring us to be away from home a lot and poor Laika is at the kennel nearly 50% of the time. We know it would be better for Laika to be in a more stable home with a person or family who loves her as much as we do.
