Sunshine was brought in by his previous owner on October 8, 2025.

Meet Sunshine, a gentle and affectionate cat in search of a loving new home! Sunshine can be a bit shy initially, and will need some time and patience to open up at his pace. Once he gets to know you and feels comfortable, he shares his friendly, curious personality. He is currently enjoying some time in a foster home, where he enjoys receiving gentle pets and roaming around the house. If you're looking for a quiet, laidback companion to brighten your days, Sunshine could be the one for you!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
