My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Mrs. Worthington! I may come across as a bit reserved when we first meet, but don't let my polite manners fool you - I've got a playful, affectionate side just waiting to shine. Once I know I'm safe, I'll happily show you my silly streak with gentle paw taps, soft purrs, and a love for toys and attention. I like to take my time warming up, but that just makes the bond we build even more special.

When I'm comfortable, I adore being close, soaking up pets and sharing cozy moments with my favorite humans. I've got the perfect balance of sweetness and fun-sometimes calm and thoughtful, other times ready to play and make you smile. If you're looking for a loving companion who just needs a little patience to blossom, I think I could be the perfect lady for you.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
