Their adoption process

An adoption application is required prior to meeting any adoptable dog or cat and we also do home visits for dogs only.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Please fill out our application here.
      https://www.helpingpawsonline.com
  2. Approve Application
    1. One of our volunteers will work to get your application approved. You will be contacted in 3-5 business days.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. Upon application approval, there will be a home visit, and an introduction to the pet (also intro with other pets - possibly not at home)
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. After everyone has mutually agreed that a good fit has been found, you will sign an adoption agreement and pay any fees.

Go meet their pets

Helping Paws is a foster based rescue that does not have a facility to house our adoptables. We believe they are better off in a loving foster home while they wait for their forever family. If interested, please fill out an application, and we will set up a time to schedule a meet and greet for you and the animal.

More about this rescue

Helping PAWS is dedicated to improving the lives of animals locally, and nationally; alleviating their suffering and elevating their status in society through the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need and through the education of their community on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, advocating the value of all animal life, in hopes to end the neglect and abuse of all animals and to end the devastating pet overpopulation through spay and neuter advocacy.
