My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chip was on the euthanasia list in NYC when she caught our eye. We couldn't let her be put to sleep in an overcrowded shelter for no good reason. So we took she and her 14 closest friends in. Chip is very calm and sweet. She loves to spend her days on a soft bed or lap just taking in the sights. She is a great eater, player, and snuggler. She'd do find in a home with cats, dogs, and/or children, or just in a home as an only kitty.

She is truly a perfect girl. She is about 6 months old, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV and ready for her forever home.

Please apply at hermioneshome.com under "adopt" to meet her.

More about this rescue

Established in 2021, Hermione's Home is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
At Hermione's Home we believe that every cat deserves a fighting chance. We put all of our efforts into finding homes and providing medical care for abandoned, unwanted, homeless cats. We are able to do this because of our amazing supporters and our incredible foster homes.

The founder and owner of Hermione's Home, Ashley Knapik have been involved in cat rescue since 2014. After the loss of her beloved tortie, Hermione, shefostered and found homes for many cats with the support of various rescues. In 2021, in the midst of pursuing her MBA, Ashley decided it was time to make a bigger impact by opening her own foster-based rescue, in the name of her best friend, Hermione.
