Shoeburt is an extremely sweet and playful young boy ready to be the only cat in his future home. He was rescued from an abandoned apartment where he was left in a closet without food for at least a day and a half. Due to this experience, he is uncomfortable with the presence of other cats in the home and is a bit territorial toward animals. He loves his humans, though, and is very affectionate and cuddly - a complete Purr Machine that indulges fully in scratches and naptime. He is litter box trained and knows how to use more than one litter box in different locations. He's eaten wet food with Urinary Tract benefits since we have had him but he's definitely interested in all varieties of foods including crunchy snacks and will likely be easy to wean onto any preferred diet. We love him dearly and would prefer not to let him go, but for the sake of his happiness we feel it best for him to have the run of his own space as the only cat. Thank you for your consideration.
