My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At 1 year old, Ellie is an independent and spunky queen - she knows what she wants! She loves exploring her castle, playing with any toys that spin, and watching her favorite lizards and squirrels from the window. Ellie is tiny but don’t let her size fool you because she loves her wet food and nightly Churus.

She has lived in a home with a small dog and other cats for the last three months, so she would do great in her forever home accompanied by other friendly cats and dogs.

Her eye has been examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist and she has given the all-clear. It has never bothered her or shown any symptoms of infection, so she believes it is scar tissue from early trauma as a kitten living outside. Ellie would love a quiet and peaceful home to call her own.

Ellie's adoption fee is $75 and includes her spay, microchip, and initial vaccines. She is negative for FIV/FELV.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.

We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.

We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
