My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Piper!

Piper is about 6 months old and extremely friendly with everyone, people or other animals! He is curious, playful, part monkey, and social. He very much wants to be with the family and poking around the house. He is everything a young kitten is expected to be.

Piper has nerve damage from birth. His back legs walk like he's got a case of "sea legs" but he gets around just fine. Piper is considered special needs because this nerve damage affected his ability to recognize the urge to defecate. There are no problems urinating in the litter box, but he does not understand when he needs to poop and so he poops outside of the litter box. Right now, he poops about 4x a day. He can wear a diaper in the house to reduce his mess during the day if the adopter so chooses. Once he has pooped, he can go for a few hours without needing to again. At night, he can sleep in a crate to give himself a long break from diapers/reduce the spread of any messes at night.

Are you looking for a social butterfly who loves to play? Piper's your guy!
