Chai is a gentle soul with a story of incredible resilience. He came into our care very sick, battling a severe illness that affected his joints and his right eye. At one point, we feared his eye would need to be removed—but Chai surprised us all. With time, treatment, and excellent veterinary care, his eye healed far better than expected, and he now has partial vision.
What truly defines Chai, though, is his heart.
He is an exceptionally sweet, kind boy who adores human attention. Chai will softly reach out and grab your hand when he wants love—but he’s so gentle he never uses his claws. He’s calm, passive, and affectionate, the kind of cat who just wants to be near you and feel safe.

We like to meet and speak with our adopters to find out the home life to best match our kitties with the right family. Our kitties are largely made up of under socialized community cats we have worked hard to socialize and need extra patience and care.
