Are you ready for a full-time professional snuggler? Wendy is a sweet young female cat whose main mission in life is to get as much love as humanly possible. As soon as she spots you, she'll zip right over, demanding attention and insisting you use both hands for maximum petting coverage. Get ready for a loud, rumbling purr and dramatic "flops" onto her back, inviting you to give her a blissful belly rub.
A small word of caution: Wendy's affection sometimes comes with gentle "love bites." While they are soft and playful, they might startle very young children, so a home with older, cat-savvy kids would be ideal.
Wendy has a good history with other cats following a slow and proper introduction. She hasn't met any dogs yet, so she'll definitely need a patient family willing to give her extra time and space to adjust to any canine companions.

Interested in one of our cats/dogs? First step it to fill out the required adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs-age appropriate), FeLV/FIV test (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations.
We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.

Adoption counselors are available onsite at PetSmart most Saturdays & Sundays, 12-4 p.m. to conduct meet and greets and onsite adoptions. Interview
A team member will reach out to gather info, answer questions, schedule a meet & greet (if needed). Dogs may require a home visit.
Approve Application
Once the app is reviewed and interview conducted, the application will be approved if it is found the animal and adopter are a good match.
Sign Adoption Contract
Final step is to sign the contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your new furry family member home.
