My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo is a beautiful, intelligent, and loving rabbit with the softest, silkiest fur and a gentle personality that wins everyone over. She is very social for a rabbit and forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. If you call her name, she will happily run over to say hello, and if you sit on the floor, she will join you to relax, nap, or enjoy long chin scratches. Oreo does not like to be picked up, but she absolutely adores being petted and spending quiet time near her humans.

Oreo has excellent litter habits, which makes her a tidy housemate. She currently lives in a home with dogs who walk around her enclosure and is also accustomed to respectful children. While she hasn’t been around other rabbits, her sweet nature makes her easy to love.

At night around 9 pm, Oreo looks forward to her Oxbow Cranberry treats. She enjoys fresh arugula, spring mix (minus the spinach), romaine lettuce, and her hay-based treats in puzzle feeders.

One of Oreo’s favorite toys used to be a small parrot ball with a bell, which she loved to toss around just to hear the sound. Above all, Oreo is a happy rabbit who shows her joy through her routine, her eagerness for affection, and her gentle presence.

If Oreo could talk, she would tell you she loves deeply, trusts wholeheartedly, and is happiest when she’s near her people. She is a truly special, gorgeous rabbit ready to bring warmth and companionship to a loving indoor home.

More about this rescue

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
