Meet Rumi 💜 She is about 2 years old with beautiful patterns and a superstar personality. She will sing to request pets and purr all day long. She LOVES affection and will show you how being the sweetest kitty around is done, done, done 🥰

Cutie pie Rumi was found outside near a cat colony, but she is far from feral. She is thriving indoors now with her cat tree and toys 🧶 Rumi is good with respectful kids. She is cat AND dog friendly but would be okay as a solo pet too. Just give her lots of attention, and then she’ll be golden ✨ Rumi is super smart and even sits for treats!

After your application is reviewed, a representative from Operation Freedom Ride will call you to conduct an interview.

OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
