My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Why hello! My name is Tomatillo and I am a loving, outgoing and gregarious little kitten! I am sweet as can be, and love people and other kitties! My favorite activities are watching tv (cat and human channels are both great!), chasing wand toys, and burrowing under the covers in a Tomatillo-sized kitty tent. I love to play and would like to be paired with another playful kitty who loves to run and wrestle! I also love to nap at the very top of my cat tree. I have perfect litterbox habits and am learning to stay off tables and counters, too!

I’ve met a lot of different kitties and some dogs. I’m great with kids, cats, and would do well with a doggo who doesn’t bark too much. My perfect home will have lots of fun toys, a playful kitty bud, maybe a cat tree to perch on, and a warm lap or two for me to snuggle in!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Tomatillo will need to be adopted with another young kitten.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
