My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hope is a sweet girl that just takes some time to settle in and warm up to new friends. Once she learns to trust you, she is affectionate and very playful. She gets the toys out of the toy box every night and entertains herself happily. She enjoys petting, and generally any attention. She was rescued from a terrifying life in struggling community colony that was also being ravaged by coyotes. She and the other friendly cats were easy targets because they were originally domesticated indoor cats. Hope can be nervous around other cats, so any feline companions would need to have a carefully selected personality to make sure they are a good fit for her. Her history with dogs and children is unknown. Hope is currently in foster. If she seems like she could be a good fit for your family, please reach out! We can schedule a time for you to meet with her to see if she's the one!

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
