This is Sea, a beautiful red-eared slider who is ready and waiting to make a splash in their new pond! Sea is looking for a family who can ensure they live out their days in comfort without the chance to (slowly) make a break for the wild, as red-eared sliders are non-native to California and can disrupt our local ecosystem. While Sea could settle into a massive indoor aquarium (100+ gallons), their ideal habitat is an outdoor pond where they can swim, bask and explore in a safe, predator-free environment. The pond should be established and bioactive or equipped with a high-tech filter to keep things clean. With a lifespan of over 20 years, Sea thrives on a diet of turtle pellets, supplemented with a species-specific menu including delicacies like insects, fruits and veggies.
