My beautiful fur coat is as soft as my name suggests. I came from a large litter of eight born to an un-spayed house cat. The owner found homes for six of my siblings, but my sister, Cardigan, and I were turned over to DCC. We were both very small for our age, but finally starting to catch up. I love to play with the wand and laser light. I don't like to be held tightly, but I do like to sit in a lap and get pets.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue group on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that fosters cats and kittens in our homes until they are ready to be adopted. All our fosters are spayed or neutered, SNAP tested, given meds for fleas and parasites and have all shots that are age appropriate. We put our adoptable pets in Petsmart for the public to interact with and to fill out adoption paperwork. We are a nonprofit organization that operates with a staff of volunteers that manage the adoption center at Petsmart, staff shows and adoptathons throughout the year and take homeless cats and kittens into their homes until they are ready for adoption. We are totally dependent on grants and donations to cover our expenses for our foster cats.
