Meet Petey! (Formerly Poseidon) This handsome boy is around 7 months old, weighs about 30 lbs, and is a Pointer mix! Petey is the perfect combo of playful and snuggly — he’ll chase a ball for hours and then curl up at your feet (or right in your lap 💕).
Petey loves all treats — we haven’t found one he’ll turn down! He’s dog-friendly, walks great on leash, rides nicely in the car, and would thrive in a home with another pup to play with. 🐶
His foster first met him at a high-intake Houston shelter where he was terrified and crying in his kennel. Now he’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate, medium-energy pup who just wants to be loved. Thanks to his amazing foster family, Petey got the second chance so many puppies never get — and now he’s ready for his forever home. ❤️

Foster to Adopt agreements are put in place to ensure the dog is a right fit for your family! Once both parties agree the dog is a good fit, you will be sent an adoption agreement to sign as well as an adoption fee will be due.
