My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Banana!

Banana is the rockstar of the party! He will always be front and center ready to rock!

Banana is exceptionally social, friendly, and curious. He looooves to come to the front of his enclosure to visit people and of course check out if you have any fresh veggies for him.

Banana came in with his sister custard from a home with a lot of rabbits.

At just 3 months old, they have sweet, playful temperaments and are ideal for families, singles, or anyone looking for a loving companion. They have great potential to bond with other rabbits. Because they've been handled daily, they're already used to gentle petting, playtime, and the normal hustle and bustle of a home.

These babies are at the perfect age to continue socializing and building strong bonds with their new humans. Give them a safe, loving indoor home, and they'll reward you with endless nose boops and bunny zoomies! 🐾

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
