HI - I'M SHIRLEY, and I'm a very special girl. I was clearly loved by someone once because I'm pretty chubby - I weigh about 93 pounds! I was impounded at a scary California shelter and while there, I rested patiently, just waiting for someone to notice me. I'm a 7-year-old Lab-Pit mix, so I figured it may take awhile, and sure enough I ended up being the shelter's longest resident. They kept me around for months because I am such a great, easygoing girl. I'm very quiet, mellow and I love human attention and affection. I'd make a great movie-watching buddy or snuggler. I truly need a foster or forever home. If you can open your home and heart to be, I would be so grateful. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Montana. We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.
