My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wakko is a gorgeous 8 month old black kitty with striking golden eyes that seem to glow when she’s feeling curious (or plotting her next treat). She’s a little shy at first and prefers to take things at her own pace, but give her a few days and you’ll see her true colors shine. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home so she gets all of the love.

Once Wakko feels safe, she turns into a total lovebug rubbing against your legs, rolling over for belly rubs, and making it very clear that you are now her person. She absolutely adores wand toys and will happily show off her playful side when it’s time to play. And if you happen to have purée treats? Congratulations, you’re already her favorite. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful girl who will reward your kindness with affection and loyalty, Wakko might just be your perfect match.

If you are interested in meeting Wakko, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. This will get you the fastest response.

Wakko's adoption fee is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, and dewormer.

All cats adopted from The Rescue Project are to be indoor only cats.
