My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Wiggle-Butt Wonder

Maskwa is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix with a short, sleek coat and a heart full of love. He arrived at the shelter under a complicated surrender situation and required treatment for quills, mostly on his back end — but nothing has dampened his incredible spirit!

This sweet boy adores butt scritches and will wiggle, dance, and shower you with enthusiasm when you give him the attention he loves. Maskwa is affectionate, playful, and thrives on human interaction, making friends wherever he goes.

He’s looking for a forever home that can celebrate his playful antics, provide love and attention, and enjoy all the wiggles, wags, and happiness he has to offer. Maskwa’s charm, energy, and unique personality make him an unforgettable companion.
