I came all the way from Texas, where I was in another shelter hoping for a fresh start. Now I’m here, full of energy and even more full of love, just waiting to meet my perfect match.
Let’s get this out there: I’m hyper! Like, zoomies-for-days kind of hyper. I love to run, play, jump, and explore everything around me. I have a big personality and an even bigger zest for life, so if you’re looking for a laid-back couch potato… I might not be your girl (at least not yet!), but if you just want some cuddles, love, and an adventure buddy, I`m you`re gal!
If you’re someone who appreciates a playful, fun-loving companion and you have a little patience to help me work on my manners, I’ll be your most loyal adventure buddy. I’m still learning how to slow down and focus, so a home that’s willing to give me time, guidance, and structure would be perfect.
I’m super friendly with people and love attention. Toys? Love them. Walks? Yes, please! Treats? Don’t even get me started. I`ve had a couple of play-dates with other dogs and though I`m definitely looking to make friends, I seem to get easily overstimulated. I lack a little confidence, so I need a calm, dog-savvy companion who can read my signals and give me space when needed (or tell me when I`m being too much).
I may be a bit of a wild child now, but with a little love and consistency, I know I can blossom into the best dog ever. If you’re ready for some excitement in your life, let’s meet — I’ve been waiting just for you.

The Routt County Humane Society, Inc., (RCHS) is a 501(c)3 organization, established in 1985 to serve the welfare of animals in Routt County, Colorado. Since its inception, RCHS has worked in partnership with the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter (SSAS), a facility of City of Steamboat Springs to provide veterinary care for shelter animals as well as spay/neuter to reduce future unwanted pet population. We have also become a source of assistance for low-income family pets.
