Beastie Boy is a handsome four-year old gray domestic shorthaired cat who is looking for his forever home! His need for love and his silly meow makes him totally endearing!
He enjoys running after toys like a soccer player, playing hide and seek, and follows his foster mom from room to room. He also is good at just hanging out.
Once familiar with you, he will climb in your lap and lean on you for head scratchies. He likes to be close to his people but is also happy to do his own thing. He’s energetic and loves to play and run (full room zoomies). He can bat his paws when startled but responds well to “no” if he gets too overstimulated.
After his owner passed unexpectedly, her sister became the caretaker of her cats and is currently fostering Beastie Boy. She is not able to keep the cats as she is also caring for her elderly father. Because he is scared and defensive of other cats, he is kept separate from the other cat and is currently on a urinary prescription diet, which helps with stress. He has become more trusting, relaxed and wanting love since there are less cats in his environment. Beastie Boy needs a patient, caring and experienced cat person who would be committed to allow him to come out of his shell and give him the love he needs.
A stress-free home with no kiddos, cats or dogs would be best for Beastie Boy. He deserves a peaceful environment and time to adjust with free rein of his home. He will be missed, as he is a very good cat, but he deserves to have someone to care for him as well as his original owner did.
Beastie Boy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. He is litter box trained. He is being fostered in Westminster. His adoption fee is $125. If you are ready to adopt this adorable cat, please submit an application today at https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication/
