My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cocoa – ID 14403 – Kennel 806
Shepherd & Siberian Husky mix – Female – 5 years old – 56 lb
Chocolate and tan – Arrived Oct 16
Spayed – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative – Dog friendly

Cocoa’s heart is just as rich and warm as her name. This beautiful 5-year-old Shepherd and Husky mix once had a family who loved her, but they said they were too overwhelmed to keep a dog. Now she’s trying to understand why she lost the only home she’s ever known—and waiting patiently for someone new to see how truly special she is.

Cocoa is incredibly sweet, gentle, and so very smart. She knows her commands—sit, stay, down, and even roll over—and she performs them eagerly, hoping for praise or just a kind touch. Her soulful eyes tell you everything you need to know: she wants to belong again, to be loved, to be someone’s loyal companion.

She’s friendly with other dogs and adores people, the kind who quietly leans in for comfort and gives love just as freely as she receives it. Cocoa doesn’t ask for much—just a little space in your heart and a promise that this time, it’s forever. Whoever opens their home to her will find not just a good dog, but a once-in-a-lifetime friend.
