Take the Pet Home
This handsome boy was trapped by well meaning people. They asked for us to help with him and he looked so pitiful that we could not turn him down. As it turns out, he must have been hit by a car because he has a broken pelvis. Doctors said it would heal on it's own. We just have to keep him quiet and confined which is so hard for a playful kitten. He purrs and loves his foster parents and soon will be able to play with the other kittens in the home. Doc says he may get arthritus where the break was when he gets older, otherwise he seems purrfectly healthy. Merlyn needs and extra special, calm and loving home.
Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets.

Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

We have an application process to assure that adopters understand the commitment. Our base adoption donation is $148 but may ask more.
Interview
Our applications are detailed so that we have the information we need to make sure our rescues go into safe, loving permanent homes.
Meet the Pet
A meet and greet is always necessary to be sure the chemistry between adoptive family or person is compatible.
Interview
We interview not only their references and vet but also the responsible parties if something happens to them.
Approve Application
Once application is approved we still want to be sure that they understand that this is a long term commitment.
Home Check
Home checks are not always conducted, especially for cats & kittens but for dogs, we always want to check to be sure fences are in order.
Take the Pet Home
We understand that sometimes a new pet does not work out no matter how hard we try. We will always take our rescues back.
