My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I’m Adah, a brown tabby with white girl with the most striking eyeliner you’ve ever seen! Permanent, of course (who has time for daily application!), so I’m always ready for my close-up. I love to gaze into your eyes with one of my signature "I'm fabulous" stares, as we get acquainted. I need a little time to get to know you, and appreciate a sniff of your fingers before we connect. That's the perfect introduction!

I love playtime and hanging out with my sister, Adelaide, and brother, Adagio. We enjoy running around, chasing our rattling mice toys and exploring all the corners of our room. Eventually we tire out and settle in for a nice nap. That is the time I appreciate petting the most and will turn on my loud purr motor to show my appreciation.

I have a few quirks that make me extra special. I love water. Standing in it while I drink is my signature move! I love people and attention, and I’ll rub up against your legs to remind you that attention is appreciated … on my terms of course, because, after all, I am a cat in training! I was born in May.

I’d thrive in a calm, adult-only home where I can be given time to build trust and blossom. I would enjoy a kitty companion, either one of my siblings or a welcoming resident cat. With patience and love, I’ll reward you with gentle affection, not-so-subtle purrs, and plenty of those “I’m fabulous” stares. If you’re ready for a classy, one-of-a-kind lady with a hint of mystery, I’m the cat for you!

All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. A brief screening questionnaire and contract apply!

If you are interested in meeting and adopting one of our cats please email: gotfriendlies@gmail.com

Our cats and kittens are in private foster homes and need a completed questionnaire before an appointment can be made to meet them.

All of our cats/kittens are in foster homes throughout DuPage County. We consider adopters within a reasonable driving distance.

More about this rescue

Feral Fixers is dedicated to the Trap, Neuter & Return (TNR) of feral cats within DuPage county. As part of our mission, we also rescue friendly cats and kittens that have been abandoned outside. We socialize and provide medical care to these kitties in our foster homes, and then make them available for adoption.

Come meet some of the adoptable cats below at one of our upcoming weekend Adoption Events! No application is required to attend, but we encourage you to apply online in advance to get pre-approved with the Adoption Questionnaire linked above.

Next Adoption Event:

• Saturday, December 27 • 11am-3pm at the Petsmart in Finley Square Shopping Center (1550 Butterfield Rd, Downers Grove)

• Sunday, 1/11, 1-4pm, at the Feral Fixers building (330 Eisenhower Ln N, Lombard)

• Saturday, 1/24, 11am-3pm, at the Feral Fixers building (330 Eisenhower Ln N, Lombard)
