FiFi – The Smokey Queen of Second Chances

Hi there, darling. I'm FiFi. Yes, the FiFi. The one with the fur so uniquely smokey, people often ask if I’ve been airbrushed by an artist. Black and white, short-haired, with a mysterious grey mist that floats across my coat like fog on a moonlit night. I’m not just any cat—I’m a masterpiece.

But life wasn’t always this glamorous.
Before I found the safety of the sanctuary, I lived a rough life… right next to the railroad tracks. My days were filled with the sound of screeching trains, my nights spent dodging danger and searching for scraps. No warm bed, no toys, no soft voices—just survival.

Then one day, everything changed. A humane trap brought me here. At first, I didn’t trust anyone (can you blame me?). But over time, with lots of delicious food and patient kindness, I realized… maybe humans aren’t so bad after all. Now? I adore people. Especially the ones who call me beautiful and come bearing lickable treats.

These days, you can find me:
• Sunbathing like royalty
• Batting at my toys like a kitten
• Collecting compliments and head scratches
• Begging (very gracefully) for snacks from sanctuary visitors

I do have a bit of a diva streak—I mean, if another cat tries to steal my treat, they’ll get the look. You know the one. But hey, a queen has to protect her treasures.

If you’re looking for a cat who’s survived the odds, learned to love deeply, and looks like she just walked out of a smoky fairytale… come meet me. I hold court daily from 1–5pm at the sanctuary. Let’s see if I’m your missing piece.

I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.
