My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maggie and Mary, a bonded pair of beautiful gray kittens. Maggie is the one with a white triangle on her tummy and a long black racing stripe down her back. Maggie and Mary are wrestling under the cat pole in one of their pictures, and you can see Maggie's cool racing stripe. Mary's stripe is a bit smaller. Their approximate birthdate is July 12, 2025. Their Foster Mom says they are each other's shadows. When you see one, the other is right behind ... they even wait for each other when one is using the litter box! They look identical except Maggie's tail was broken when she was a baby. So it has a “kink” toward the tip. That’s how their Foster parents tell the difference. Even though they are twins, they have opposite personalities. Maggie is more outgoing and is usually the boss. Mary is a bit quieter and is usually the follower. Maggie likes to check everything out. She is the first one in the open cabinet while Mary sits back and waits till the coast is clear. Then she’s right there with Maggie. They have a lot of fun together. They both like to climb on the cat pole, chase each other through the cat tunnel and sleep in your bed at night. And they both like to lay on your lap while you are watching TV. They are very affectionate kittens but do not enjoy being carried around; therefore they would do best in a household with calm well-behaved children over 5. If you are looking for two sweet kittens, look no further and adopt Maggie and Mary. They would make a loving addition to any home. Two kittens are always better than one! Adopting kittens in pairs makes for a better adjusted household all-around.

All kittens reside in foster homes and are not kept at the actual shelter. They have been spay/neutered, microchipped, wormed, FeLV tested, and have had at least their first distemper vaccine depending on age. The adopter is responsible for all remaining vaccines.

Contact kittens@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or call 610-432-2532 ext 4 for more info about Maggie and Mary and the adoption process. Potential adopters will need to complete an application and provide proof of vet care/vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. If you rent please also provide a copy of your rental agreement showing pet allowance. Please bring your own carrier.
