We adopted Oakley from a lady in New York in March of last year. She will be 2 years old on 12/2/2025. She is a very high energy dog, but we just do not have the time to put towards giving her the attention that she needs. She loves to play play play. She could go all day if you would let her. She wants outside during the day almost every 2-3 hours, not so much because of potty, but I think because she is bored. She still has accidents around the house right now, though I think that is because we are not home to let her out. She is kennel trained to sleep in inside one at night. Approximately 10pm, and she knows it is bedtime.
She's not a bad dog. She's a beagle. So, she has that beagle bark, and she is beagle maintenance. She's very loving, and precocious.
She would need someone that would be willing or able to have time to put toward her care. Have the space for her. And not have other dogs. She does not do well with other dogs, unfortunately.
