While he has no interest in interacting with people, Espresso Beans does enjoy play—on his own terms. Toys are a favorite pastime, as long as there’s no human participation involved. Toss it, walk away, and let him handle the rest.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home. Adoption prices may vary to what is listed. Dogs under 6 months/under 25 lbs are $200. Dogs over 6 months/over 25 lbs are $100. Cats under 6 months are $50. Cats over 6 months are $25.

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
