Junior recently found himself stuck in an overcrowded shelter in rural Georgia, where he was running out of time. Our local rescue partner knew he deserved a second chance and connected us with him so he could be rescued just in time. Now, Junior is safe in foster and is on his way to a brighter future — hopefully with you in it!
Junior is a one-year-old bundle of joy who hasn’t let his rough start dampen his spirit. Despite his 60-pound frame, he’s 100% convinced he’s a lap dog. He lives for affection, snuggles, belly scratches, and being as close to his people as possible. His happy-go-lucky personality makes him an instant friend to everyone he meets — human or canine!
Whether he’s making new friends, romping around the yard, enjoying a new dog toy or flopping over for belly rubs, Junior is just soaking up the second chance he’s been given. He’ll be heading up to New York soon in search of a forever family who will give him all the love he so willingly gives in return.
