Jussi (Yoo-si) is friendly and affectionate. He's always ready for a romp or play session. The dog park, daycare, the kennel, on walks--he makes friends wherever he goes. Hes a bundle of energy and needs daily exercise and play times. He sleeps quietly in his kennel overnight and likes to ride in the car. Jussi has been to puppy training and socialization, where he learned basic commands and how to play nicely.

What he needs to work on: jumping up, getting excited during play, and guarding of food and things he considers food. At 10 months, he's in his teenage rebellion stage and periodically has tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. For this reason, his new home should not include young children, although older children could be a plus. Jussi needs a place where someone is home most of the day and has more than one adult to contribute to his ongoing training. He has potential as a hunting dog as well. His vet's behavioral assessment is available to serious applicants.
