My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Contact my foster at natalielange@msn.com

Trent is an easygoing & loving companion looking for someone to share their home and heart with.
Medium Energy Level (does not require a lot of exercise but does enjoy a daily walk or play session)
Gentle and affectionate
Potty trained
Crate trained
Doing wonderfully with his three foster dog siblings of various sex and sizes (still recommend proper and slow introductions)
Great car rider and enjoys going on adventures
Has been non-reactive to people, bikes and dogs that he has encountered on the greenways and trails
Gets excited to see new dogs but is easily refocused
Has been respectful of human and dog boundaries in the home
Highly treat motivated which has made him fun to train
Loves: couch naps, laying in the sunshine, kongs, heavy duty chew toys, being close to his people and fur friends, affection, SNACKS
Dislikes: mud puddles
Has a minor neurological deficit that causes a slight head tilt to the left. The shelter has not done diagnostics on what is behind this, but it certainly gives him an adorable look
Trent would thrive in a home that appreciates a dog who is past the puppy stage and ready for consistent, loving companionship.

More about this shelter

Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control's pet adoption program brings animals and people together. If you are looking for a new pet, ACC has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
