My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our sweetest Moo Moo will be available for adoption. We are looking for a breed savvy family who is familiar with the characteristics and needs that Sharpei’s require. Moo moo is significantly smaller than the average Sharpei weighing less than 15 pounds at 6 months old. We don’t think she will be over 25 pounds. She is ALL puppy. She with find everything and anything to chew, make sure there’s lots of toys around! She is not housebroken either.

Here are some things you need to know before applying for Moo Moo:

🐾Moo is 100% crate trained and is PERFECT in the crate all night long, not making a peep.

🐾She gets along with other dogs all sizes and breeds.

🐾She will chase cats and harass them to no end , but she is not aggressive and will not harm them. She just wants to play , but she will annoy them.

🐾She loves sleeping in bed with you. She is the perfect napping partner ❤️

🐾Her fee will be slightly higher due to her breed.

Please research Sharpei’s before inquiring. They are a wonderful breed but they are not for everyone. They make loyal, loving companions and generally bond to one person in the home. They can be particular with strangers, but it’s all about how you socialize them. They are prone to skin infections due to their hanging skin and folds. You will need to maintain a clean coat to prevent this.

Additional adoption info

Petty Pawz Rescue reserves the right to deny adoption applications if we do not believe the family or animal is a good fit for you. We stand by our animal's and their safety and only want to set them up for success! Petty Pawz Rescue is operating with less than 3 people, so it may take longer than expected to hear back with your application status.

Go meet their pets

We generally host adoption events at our headquarters (contact us for address) every Saturday and Sunday from 9-2pm. We can also make arrangements throughout the week if you are not available to visit. We are foster based and have to align your schedule to the foster's schedule in order for you to meet the animals. We do not have a facility you can visit at this time.

More about this rescue

Petty Pawz Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on rescuing and assisting animal shelters that are overcrowded or animals considered high-risk. We do not accept owner surrenders at this time as our focus is animals that are in immediate danger. We specialize in pregnant animals, orphaned animals, senior dogs, or animals needing medical assistance. We are foster based and can only accept what we have availability for foster wise. We take in both cats and dogs, big or small! Our mission is to prevent the overpopulation in animal shelters and to find loving forever homes for the animals in our custody!
