My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Artemis is a playful, affectionate little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Much like his brother Apollo, he’s full of kitten energy—zooming, wrestling, exploring—and then just as quick to crash into a deep, cozy nap.

He’s curious, confident, and loves being where the people are. Artemis is social and seems to enjoy meeting new faces. While we’re not certain how he would do around kids, based on how friendly he’s been with new people, it’s likely he’d adjust well with the right introductions and environment.

Artemis would do best in a home where someone is around for much of the day to give him attention, playtime, and plenty of love. He thrives on interaction and would absolutely love to be adopted with his brother, Apollo—they’re two peas in a pod, constantly playing, snuggling, and exploring together.

If you're looking for a lively, loving kitten who's just as snuggly as he is spirited—and you're open to the idea of double the cuteness—Artemis (and Apollo!) are ready to win your heart. 💛

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Found an animal on our site and want to meet them or find out more about them? Fill out the adoption questionnaire located below and submit to us. Once we have reviewed/approved your application, we will provide you with the foster contact information so that you can find out more and arrange a “meet and greet”. All of our animals are located in foster homes throughout the Triangle area.

When going to a “meet and greet”, please make sure you take any family members and other pets (if at all possible) to observe their interactions. This can make introduction into the new home easier for the animals and for you.

The animal’s foster parent will ultimately make a recommendation to the organization regarding the permanent placement of the animal. Once an adoption decision has been made by both parties, we ask for an adoption fee to help us cover spay/neutering, shots, medical treatment, food and supplies – this amount only partially cover the cost of expenses and allows us to help as many animals as possible!

What if the adoption doesn’t work out? We have a lifetime return policy on our animals as we don’t want to see them turned back into a shelter.
