ABOUT APPLE CIDER DONUT!

Meet Apple Cider Donut, our deliciously adorable tabico! This sweet lady was brought to HAP as a stray, so we don't know much about her past. This sudden switch to indoor living has been a big change for her, so she's taking her time getting used to being pampered!

Apple Cider Donut is a quiet girl at first meeting, who enjoys snuggling under her blankie and taking a nap, but once she warms up, she's a crazy girl! She loves to explore and play, especially if she has a kitty friend to play with! While she isn't the most affectionate girl, she does enjoy hanging out with people.

*Apple Cider Donut loves other cats, and we think she'd do best in a home with a kitty friend! We don't recommend dogs or kids, as she is timid.

**If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Our adoption process is designed to help you and your family find the perfect match in a pet. When the right match is made, we strive to conduct our adoptions thoughtfully, transparently, and with the utmost respect. You can view and submit an adoption questionnaire online ahead of your visit by going to our website: humaneanimalpartners.org. A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.

We are located in Newark (Christiana), Delaware. Come visit us at 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark (Route 7 behind Royal Farms and Border Cafe)! We're open 6 days a week: Tuesday 12-7, Wednesday thru Sunday 12-5. We are closed on Mondays.
