Betty is taking “forever companion” to a whole new level!
She’s really giving us those “adopt me” eyes! This 3-year-old sweetheart was rescued as a lost dog, and though she was microchipped and her previous owners were contacted, they never came to reclaim her. Since then, we’ve discovered that Betty is a total lovebug — food-motivated, eager to please, and quick to show off her “sit” for a treat! She adores being pet and soaking up affection from staff and volunteers.
At just 40lbs, Betty is the perfect medium-sized companion and would make an easy fit for apartment living.

Since then, we’ve discovered that Betty is a total lovebug — food-motivated, eager to please, and quick to show off her “sit” for a treat! Individuals wishing to adopt an animal from our shelter must complete an adoption application and provide proof of home ownership or, if you are a renter, you must provide a copy of your lease or a notarized letter from your landlord stating pets are permitted. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt any animal from our shelter. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption. In some instances, a home visit may be required. Our fees vary depending on the age and breed of the animal. Typically, a mix breed is $110.00 and a purebreed is $150.00 and up. There is also an altering charge of $85.00 for a male and $95.00 for a female. All animals receive vaccines, microchip identification, frontline treatments.

We are opened 7 days a week between the hours of 12:00-5:00pm for adoptions. No appt is necessary and we welcome prospective adopters to bring their current pet for a meet and greet with one of our orphans.
