Leah, a long-haired black beauty, was surrendered to the shelter after her family faced devastating medical complications. It was a heartbreaking decision for everyone involved: Leah, for losing the only home and people she’s ever known, and her family, who had to make the impossible choice of letting her go.
Now in our care, Leah is understandably shy—shelter life is overwhelming, especially for a senior cat who lived her whole life in the comfort of a home. But with quiet patience, Leah has started to open up to staff, showing her gentle and affectionate side.
She’s already spayed, litter trained, and in desperate need of a second chance. We know the right person is out there—someone who sees past the fear and age and recognizes the loving soul beneath it all.
Let’s get Leah back to where she belongs: in a home, safe and loved.
