My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bethany takes our breath away.

This blue nose pittie is about 4 years old and was rescued as a lost dog, and it’s clear she’s ready for a fresh start. Bethany is incredibly sweet in every sense of the word — easygoing at the shelter, easy to walk, and simply a pleasure to be around. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and has a calm, loving presence that makes her easy to fall for.

Bethany knows how to sit and is very treat-motivated, making her fun and rewarding to work with. She enjoys her walks, takes direction well, and truly loves spending time with her people.

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart of gold, Bethany is ready to find her forever home. Meet Bethany at AHS Newark, NJ Animal Shelter
