My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This affectionate, intelligent, and regal lady loves to hang out with you, explore, and play any game that lets her inner hunter out.

Missy is the perfect balance of social and independent. She loves being pet, and will gladly sit next to you on the couch while you’re watching a movie. Sometimes she likes to sit at your desk and get in the way of your computer screen as you work. When she’s not being nosy, she’ll pick a cozy spot to nap the day away and do her own thing. Missy is generally pretty confident and social, but will spook at unknown sounds, so she’d love a calm home to spend her days napping in.

Missy’s a big routine girl. She loves being brushed, loves her treats, and is a spry senior kitty who loves to chase her wand toys! She’s great at dragging her wand toys through the house to remind you that you forgot to play with her. (Nothing cuter than hearing a muffled meow as she carries around a toy!) She’s great at using cardboard scratchers, and is a big fan of catnip toys.

Missy was raised by a wonderful person who adored her. For years, Missy was the queen of the neighborhood, until her person passed suddenly in 2021. Their sibling took over her care until they, too, passed. She was fostered by neighbors, and now she’s being fostered under PAWS care until she finds her new home.

Missy is looking for a quiet household (teens or older) where she’s the only cat and the focus of your attention and affection. She’s been through a lot of change. In return for your support, she’s prepared to reward you with steadfast companionship and love.
