Sam is a 57-pound young adult with a heart full of love—he just takes a little time to show it. Found as a stray, Sam is still learning what it means to be a dog and would love a patient, kind person to help him discover how wonderful life can be.
He may be cautious at first, but once he feels safe and trusts you, he transforms into the most loyal, playful, and affectionate friend you could ask for. He loves to play, enjoys cuddle time, and is eager to form a deep bond with someone special.
Sam would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who can offer patience and encouragement as he continues to build confidence. He loves other dogs and needs a home with a canine sibling! If you’re ready to guide him on his journey and gain a devoted best friend in return, Sam is waiting to meet you!
