Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hershey (aka Kash)! 🐾
This 8-month-old Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier mix is a lovable, playful pup with a heart full of affection and energy! Hershey was owner-released through no fault of his own, and he’s now ready for a fresh start. Weighing 44 pounds, this sweet boy is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home. Hershey does great with kids, other dogs, and is crate trained. While he’s not a fan of cats, he’s a total cuddlebug with people — he loves to snuggle and even gives hugs! He knows the command sit and would thrive with continued training and structure. His previous owner noted he had occasional accidents in the house, so he’ll need some help finishing up his potty training. This playful pup would love a big backyard to run and play in, and he’s also a rockstar in the car, at the vet, and with the groomer — what more could you ask for? If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and loving companion who’s still young and eager to learn, Hershey/Kash could be your perfect match. 🐶💙
Hershey/Kash's Adoption Fee is $108 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
