My name is Missy!

Looking for a foster to socialize this beautiful kitty, Missy. She is not aggressive but is very shy and withdrawn. Missy was living in a home with 9 other cats until the owner decided they only wanted two cats so they put the others outside letting the neighbors know they were no longer going to take care of them. We took Missy into our rescue where she gave birth to 5 adorable kittens which have all been adopted. She had to have all her teeth removed due to Stomatitis, a serious gum disease. Now we’re hoping to find Missy the loving home she deserves.

Missy does enjoy pets & scratches around her neck and back near her tail and she enjoys playing with & chasing a wand toy. However, she doesn’t like to be handled as she will hiss & try to hide. We believe if Missy’s in a quiet home with a patient foster, she’ll improve to the point where she would be someone’s best friend.
