Maurice is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves attention and companionship. I adopted him from the Fairfield County Dog Shelter in December 2021, and he’s truly one of the chillest cats you’ll ever meet. He enjoys lounging around, cuddling up close, and being part of whatever you’re doing — whether it’s relaxing on the couch or working from home.
Maurice has lived comfortably with two small dogs for over a year and handled it like a pro. The shelter mentioned he may not do well with other cats, but I haven’t personally tested that. He thrives best as the center of attention, soaking up love from his humans.
Unfortunately, due to severe allergies and moving into a home that isn’t suitable for cats, I’m looking for a new home for him where he can continue to be spoiled and adored. Maurice will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an easygoing, loving cat who just wants to be near you.
