Good afternoon. I am so glad you decided to stop by. <br/><br/>My name is Marcus, and Im an older, refined, gentlepup. I am respectful of people, their homes, and their spaces. I like gentle pets and relaxing walks. I do still like to play and go on hikes, but I am not one to run a marathon. I get along with other dogs that understand that Im not a puppy anymore and to be gentle with me. <br/><br/>I love people, especially when getting any attention; some sweet ear scratches, pets, even a nice brushing of my fur is heaven for me. I am gentle on the leash, and I do prefer using the bathroom outside. <br/><br/>If you are looking for the perfect gentle companion; Im right here! I promise to be sweet, loving, and only minimally beg for treats. Maybe more than minimally if you have some chicken nuggets or a pupcup, they are wonderfully delicious.

Meet the Pet
We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

Sign Adoption Contract
Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
