My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whiskey is a senior boy with senior medical concerns. Per the medical records he has Ocular disease, possible mature cataracts with opaque anterior chamber. He has a 3/6 holosystolic murmur, loudest over the left apex and 4/5 dental disease. Nevertheless, he is as sweet as can be and just wants a lap to curl up in. Whiskey was brought in by a citizen as a stray, no background information and no idea how he became lost. What is even more alarming is that no one has come looking for him. Whiskey is a sweet senior boy, eager for attention but once he is in the yard he just wants time to smell the flowers (or in our case the stinky grass). Whiskey doesn't seem to be affected by his loss of vision and finds his way around just fine. He tested fine with another younger male and showed no reaction to the dog approaching or sniffing at him. If you are willing to let Whiskey have a happy ending and interested in providing him a safe haven, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and text 775-338-6631October 21, 2025, 7:55 pm
