Good with cats? Not Tested. Smoke senses the presence of other cats in his foster home and does not display any concern.

Good with kids? Not Tested

Energy level: Medium High. He is explorative and playful. As his paws pads continue to heal, he loves to run and enjoy zoomies! He likes to jump and play with all kinds of toys, especially kickers. He also watches wildlife outside his window.

Medical needs: Smoke is being treated for pillow foot, which made his paw pads inflamed and swollen. He requires constant monitoring of his paw pads including veterinary visits. He may need to take steroid and antibiotic medication again. He will appreciate clean, soft surfaces in his home, and needs a pellet litterbox so that he feels a gentle texture under his paws. Pillow foot needs to be understood as it is a chronic condition. However, it’s easily managed and doesn’t slow Smoke down a bit.

Animal Characteristics: Smoke is a loving, super friendly, active boy who enjoys hugs and cuddles. He is very affectionate, likes to be petted and brushed, and will rub against and sit by you. He likes to nose boop and knows his trusted human. He is highly food motivated! He has a lot of love to give and is vocal about it. Smoke is a gem.
