My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Beebo. I’m a soft-hearted boy with big eyes and an even bigger heart. Life’s been a little confusing for me, so I tend to be a bit shy at first, but I promise, once I trust you, I’ll show you just how loving I really am.

I’m what they call a “good boy”, I keep my kennel clean, I’m quiet (I rarely bark!), and I’m happy just being near someone who makes me feel safe. I might not rush up to you with a wagging tail right away, but give me a little time and you’ll see how special I am.

I’m looking for a patient, kind human who sees past the shyness and gives me the chance to truly shine. If you’re the kind of person who roots for the underdog, I think we could be something really good together. Adopt me today!

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
